3D Blu-ray Disc Player with Super Wi-Fi
Great streaming device
Easy to set-up and versatile since it connects to many network services such as Netflix, Windows 8 PC that streams via Windows Media Player and a DLNA network file storage to stream my media. Response is quick and the XrossMediaBar (XMB UI is familiar if you've used PSP or PS3.
I replaced my DVD player and Roku with this single device.
One needs to remember DLNA cannot play some files such as protected iTunes files or Windows Recorded TV Show (.WTV) files since they are limited to running on iTunes or Windows devices. But for plain MP3, MP4 video files, and photos, this works perfectly.

Great unit and upgrade
Got this unit and had easy setup, linked right to my wifi router no problem at all. The old Roku would stop and have to reload - it got annoying - where this is flawless. The picture quality is 100 times better also. The quantity of availble viewing is also phenominal.
Anyone want to buy an old Roku?
Yes, I would recommend this unit to anyone with an HD TV.

So far it is much better than my previous BDplayer
Plays BR movies, the Dolby channel audio seperation is excellent. Up converts Regular DVD movies, I don't have a 3D TV (technology is going by the wasteside very soon) so I can't speak for the 3D viewing. Apps so far work like they should. Internet viewing is easy. Blue Ray movies start in seconds as with other units can take up to a minute or longer. Overall for the price it's an excellent Blue ray Player. I took one star off because because the unit does not support Adobe flash player which is a must in todays web browsing.
My HT set up is
Yamaha Home theater reciever, Klipsche speakers, Sony SXRD 60" and this Blue ray player. I'm pworking on building my own HTPC to eliminate all the components.
I bought a differant Player a few days ago and had nothing but network and app problems, the LG I had has a terrible UI and overheated horrible. I took it back and got this sony. So far everything is leaps and bounds above LG. But it's only been 2 days, time will tell and for the price if it only lasts 6 months it will be money well spent IMO.
Actually I'm very happy that wal-mart carried this product usually wally world carries junk in the home theater sense of things.
