On a recent dive trip I took excellent underwater videos with the Action Cam using the underwater housing down to over 100’. However, Sony does not sell, distribute or make available replacement O-rings for the underwater housing. I have been doing underwater photography for 20 years and this is the only time I’ve ever run into a situation where the manufacturer doesn’t make replacement O-rings available. The O-rings will wear out within a year as stated in the underwater housing’s instructions so it’s a lot of money to invest for just one year of use. This is not typical of Sony and is totally unacceptable.

the case works great but there are issues
you do not supply the grease or a replacement seal with the case purchase nor do you offer the grease or replacement seal in the Sony stores or online stores.
how can i follow the warranty instructions on my new action camera if you all or no online store provides the things needed to take care of the product?

After one use, an O-ring got a cut on accident, and we find out Sony does not supply this part.

Works excellently. Took it diving at Grand Turk down to a max of 70+ feet for at least half an hour. No fogging and no water.

I bought AS15 end of May 2014 from BB and bought MPKS3 thru Sony Store last June since BB don't carry this particular item. The very slow leak problem started after 7 or 8 times uses, also had fog problem. I shoot underwater fly fishing video up to an hour and the last time I used it almost soaked the bottom part of AS15 where wire hookups are so I called the customer service yesterday for replacement. I spent more than an hour talking 6 different people including one supervisor, I have to beg one guy to connect me to the supervisor. I wrote down time and name of the people I talked and was very frustrating experience I ever had. BTW, if you ever need to call Sony customer service expect to wait and talk to people in Philippine where has [[poor phone connection. Make a long story short I am very disappointed about Sony because my concern was that my AS15 can be ruined by water leak due to this lemon product I bought but they insisted that it has only 14 day warranty so can't replace the flat face cover part for me. I have been Sony customer long time when they introduced Walkman since then bought 8 mm, hi 8 mm, mini DV, HD camcorder with underwater housing, desktop computer, HD TV, Sony Hx line cameras, MC...etc and lately was shopping for Vaio laptop but not anymore. If I buy other Sony product and have any problems then I have to go thru this kind of difficult service and it's not worth of my time. Wish good luck to those who already bought or going to buy this item. I think It's about time for me to shop for other brand products.

Bought this casing because planning a trip to go scuba diving and all I have to say is good thing I purchased it early this case does not fit the HRD-AZ1 model. Whats is the point of having a underwater casing if it does not fit all models?

I purchased the mini cam thinking that Sony will also release an accessory like the lens for under water soon after they released the 1VR, but sad say that up until now there's nothing, and I think they dont have any plan of producing one. Very disappointing because using the camera under water wont provide you a good video.
