Pros:
easy to use
I love this adapter! I just take my memory card out of my camera and slide it into this adapter and slide it all into my computer for quick and easy upload of my pics and video to my computer. It is so much more convenient than using the cords that came with it, and without the adapter I wouldn't be able to put the memory card directly into my computer.
I love this thing, and at less than $10 it doesn't break the bank when my son gets a hold of it and looses it.

Pros:
Great
Cons:
None
I bought a Sony Memory Stick PRO Duo for my HandyCam. When I tried to put the card into my laptop low and behold it wouldn’t work. I was sick to say the least. Came home and found this adapter. It works great. It allows me to put my new card into a laptop and transfer my videos to the computer. It’s small, flat, and fits into one of those multi card readers on your laptop. No extra cables to deal with. Great idea Sony. Thanks.

Pros:
It fit into the slot
Cons:
It does not work
I have a Cybershot DSC-09 Camera. Why did Sony make thousands of products with a memory stick slot that they would later make obsolete? Why does Sony not simply continue to supply the "old" memory stick for the millions of loyal customers who bought their PCs, cameras, and video cameras?
The adapter does not work. I receive a "Memory Stick Error" message when it is inserted. I now have a camera that I cannot use.
I am going onto E-Bay to see if I can find an original "old" memory stick.
Sony, get your act together!

Pros:
Size and Convenience
Cons:
A bit Fragile - Broke my first one.
I think this is great! It lets me use the port on my notebook. Just wish they would provide a rigid jewel case for it and it's flash card. Can't seem to find one anywhere and placing it in a soft case can bend it.

Tried two MAC Duo Adapter MSAC-M2 memory adapters and both failed to work. As an electrical engineer I noticed that the pins inside the adaptor bent upon insertion of the memory stick. Quite simply the adaptor suffers from either a poor design or poor quality control. Very dissapointed with Sony for creating an odd sized memory stick that requires an adaptor in the first place and then desgning an adaptor that does not do the job. Also the instuctions are poor and do not indicate how far the memory is to be inserted into the adaptor. Sony take note, you have done better in the past!

Pros:
Can use my older Sony Camera with more memory now
Cons:
Hard to find outside Sony store in Ontario
I needed more pic space for my older sony camera a Cybershot DSC-P72. I had 128MG memory in there and it was a longer stick which you can no longer buy. The Mory stick Pro Duo (2 GB) from SanDsik fit right into this memory adapter and I now have 2GB on my card to take pics. It also fits into the memory slot on my computer as my old 128MB card did. GREAT! Now I don't have to buy a new camera yet. This old Sony still takes good enough pictures for me and I like a viewfinder and all the new ones (compact) don't seem to have this anymore.

I put the Memory Stick in my camera & it works fine. But what is this adaptor thing? There are no instructions. It does not fit into anything I can find.. Should I throw it away?
