Works only as a powered speaker

Pros: Very nice and heavy speakers

Cons: Could not get the media server to work

I could not get the server to stream music even in wired mode, let alone in the wireless mode. I am using Windows Vista ultimate on 32-bit. The M-crew server can see the CPF-IX001 unit but I cannot add the Sony unit on the M-Crew equipment list. Also, the Sony unit says server not found. It has very nice sound if you just play through its line-in connection but that defeats the whole raison d'etre of this component.

DONT BUY IT!!!!!! RUN AWAY!

Pros: nice idea

Cons: DOESNT WORK with 64 bit and support sucks!

The item is worthless.

BETTER THAN BOSE!!!!

Pros: WIreless, Works with SONY MP3 Player, Excellent Sound Quality, Looks Great

Cons: None So Far

I bought this a couple of days back, I am very happy with it. I had a Klipsch system earlier but that was meant for an IPOD. This is meant for SONY MP3 player, although they do provide a line in and a wire to connect an ipod. Best feature is the wireless. I was able to connect it to the wireless network easliy ( I have 801.11 G), just follow the manual. And Sound Quality is much better than Bose, my friend has bose and this beats bose hands down! With so many features, i am sure you will love it!

Better than I ever expected.

Pros: Great sound-what else can you ask for speaker.

Cons: Little hard to setup.

I just oreded second set. I belive I can use Sony Walkman MP3 with this. The black plat in to middle of the speaker comes off and it looks like CPF-NW0001. Do not expect too much form small speaker, however it is good enough. Bass is also good.

Cute, Solid, Powerful

Pros: Solid State, High Quality Sound

Cons: Software installation is cumbersome
