This is a bad design to squeeze everything into 4 vertical deep packets and compartments. I have Lowepro 15" notebook/camera backpack (Model No: CompuDaypack) and I like their design better than Sony's.

Pros:
Excellent quality. Feels sturdy. Zippers are high quality and the cusions on underside keep objects inside protected.
Cons:
Shoulder straps are a bit bulky, but sturdy none the less.
There are a lot of places to put things in this backpack. There's a place for an mp3 player right on the shoulder strap with a place to input your headphones!! This bag has room, and a lot of it. Glad I got this over the tote bag! Thanks Sony!

I love it , very stylish, also very handy and fits everything I needed to go to school or just traveling.

Pros:
The 18.4" AW fits....kind of.
Cons:
Not big enough to comfortably fit the AW and anything else. Poor material quality.
I have had this bag for 3 full months now. About 3 weeks ago the top of the auxiliary pocket ripped open to expose the padding between it and the main pocket. I carry this bag to class, but I cannot carry anything more than my notebook with me. I physically cannot fit much more into the bag. This AW laptop fits in with the neoprene sleeve just barely, and I feel like I have to stretch the top of the bag over the laptop. The design of the back of the bag makes it hard to open fully to see what is in there. The bottom pockets are deep and you must reach in blind and play the "I hope there is nothing sharp in here and I don't stab myself in the hand with my pencil again" game. I often lose. I got this bag because it is one of two that are compatible with the AW series. I wish that it was. I hope that this compatibility is removed and Sony will come out with a bag that fits the computer.

Bought this backpack at SonyStyle shop in LA. This is just THE PERFECT backpack for my Sony VAIO AW laptop. Even laptop packed in Sony VAIO Neoprene Case for AW Series fits in easily. I just love it.
Now I have a proper and secure backpack for both of my VAIO laptops (CTO AW220J and AR630E), both sets of cables, headphone sets, remote commander, and some other accessories for laptops.
