This camcorder is perfect for me I've looked at all the reviews and bought this camcorder. Sony makes the controles simple but has a lot of features. Lots of people disliked the still camera but I thought it was very good. overall this camcorder was awesome

I wanted several features and functions but also wanted a small compact size, and a good price. Got all with this camcorder. Combined camera so I don't have to carry around two devices. Cables for AV and USB come with it. Long battery life. Decent zoom for it's size. The audio picks up very well. Can add an SD card, not restricted to memory sticks. Nice viewing screen even in sunlight. Built in lens cover. And the price was not bad at all. I spent alot of time comparing. Once you go smaller, you lose feature options. This was the best compromise I could find to get compact size, features/functions I wanted, and decent price all in one.

Excellent for iMovie 09

Pros: Uploads fast and easy right into imovie 09

Cons: none yet

I used this last week to make a movie for my daughter's school project. I couldn't believe how easy it was. Just plugged in to my mac using the USB port and poof, the video was right there. Literally took seconds to upload. If you use iMovie 09 this is great!

Waste of money. Don't buy this.

Pros: small.

Cons: can't get video from the camera to a PC.

The manual doesn't help. Page 45, step 4: "When the screen appears, touch Yes". No screen appears! Now what?! ALL I WANT IS TO GET VIDEO TO MY PC!!!! Is that too much to ask?!?!

Nice little camcorder

Pros: easy to use

Cons: DOES NOT WORK WITH MAC

does not work with mac computer and this is the most commonly used computer in my home i could not view the movies or edit them except on the camcorder itself. i had to purchase a different software to be able to view the movies on my laptop.

Sony (The Best)

Bought this Sony Camcorder two days ago, and been playing with it ever since, trying to get to know it. Thus far, it meets my needs. Great recording, great picture taking and face finder, zoom is great, lightweight, easy to transfer pictures and videos to my PC, whereas I have Windowsxp. Other than not having a viewfinder in which I wish it had, this product is perfect for me in every aspect. I love it...

Very nice but complicated

Pros: handy size, file storage and battery life

Cons: Photo quality not good, how do join together the video

Nice camera/camcorder video qulaity is exellent but photo quality is terrible and I can't figure out why. Also, every video downloaded is fractured in segments whenever you stop recording and I haven't figured out how to join it inot one complete movie, why is this?

Worth investing for your memories ...

Pros: Compact, internal light works excellent, 16gb internal memory, very light, 180 degree touch screen is very convenient

Cons: so far so awesome...

I bought this camcorder just about a week ago for my soon-to-be-here baby boy. I've been playing with it all week and can honeslty say I recommend this camera to anyone who is looking to record quality video/photo image memories. Easy to transfer to PC or external media. And it's software is just as easy to understand, edit, email, etc. Plus, wife loves the look. Dads, go get it !!!

Pros: Small

Cons: bad pictures, hard to get videos and pictures to PC

this camera is very good with video, good quality. very very bad with pitcures dont even bother to take pictures my metro pcs phone takes better pictures. its hard to get the videos and pictures on to the pc and i still cant figure out how to get in on to a dvd, it says i need special equipment but cant find this. now that this camcorder is no longer available i dont think i will find it.

Great little camcorder

This camcorder has many great features, and is very easy to use. The zoom is very good, and the face detection is a remarkable addition! I recommend this camcorder to anyone who wants high quality in a compact, lightweight package.
