Pros:
Navigation is excellent
Cons:
Bluetooth Module from TomTom no way to unlock either from TOMTOM or SONY
The Navigation is excellent, but during the process of updating the module on my Laptop the unit locked and there is no way for Sony or TomTom to unlock or reload the module there should be better mangement software for the module other than waiiting for Sony to figure out how to fix the problem. The Sirius Inteface is the worst I have ever seen who designed this is beyond me they should have tested this with the consumer before releasing something this bad.

Pros:
Has almost every feature you can find or ever want.
Cons:
Interface is terrible for any level of aftermarket reciever.
The displays lack any features, colors or displays you will normally find with most popular DVD recivers. A lot of factory nav systems that I have used have better user interfaces than this unit. This unit is a dis service to someone wanting to expand thier vehicles audio/visual/nav set up. Very cumbersome Sat radio controls, terrible nav/audio co-existance, too much to list.
Shame on Sony. Follow up and follow through on your research and development before your customers spend high dollars on your "best" products.
I will have to eat the $1300 I have spent on the unit, accessories and instal to only relace unit and start all over....

Be caution buying this item, as i have 2 gps units from Sony, now deleted from their production line, and their last update for mapping was back in 2009. It is ridiculous that Sony would make a product and then not make any new updates for their products. I certainly would not purchase any more electronics from Sony requiring mapping updates. What happens if Tom Tom goes out of business? Who is going to provide mapping then for these units? These are not cheap units if one has to discard them due to an update issue.

Pros:
Excellent screen resolution, great phone integration
Cons:
Terrible user menus
This product could be awesome had the people who designed it actually used it.
The first problem I have with it is the user interface for the iPod. Once you have gone through all the menus to pick out a song there is no way to simply go back to the album you are already on and pick out a different song. There are two choices. Either go back through all the menus to get back to the album or you have to just press forward or backward. This brings up the second problem.
There is a hesitation almost every time you press a button. So when ever you want to go back one song you have to push the back button multiple times until it responds. Most of the time you won't know if it responds so you will end up going back further than you wanted.
Next up is the navigation. This works well. Except if you're trying to control the music. Hopefully you have steering wheel controls because this is the only way to change songs if the navigation is up. And I feel its worth mentioning that to use the steering wheel controls you have to purchase a separate module.
Seems as though Sony could update the firmware to correct these problems that make such a great radio such a terrible product.

Pros:
navigation, sound quality
Cons:
TomTom map update not yet available
After looking at OEM and aftermarket in-dash GPS for Audi A4, I selected this product. Lots of cheap China knockoffs and unscrupulous dealers. BEWARE. BestBuy Geek Squad installed with Sony back-up camera for about $200. Excellent, flawless install. GPS is all you would expect from TomTom. MAP UPDATE SOFTWARE IS NOT YET AVAILABLE FOR THIS UNIT ON THE TOMTOM WEB SITE. Good news is that shen available, software will be Macintosh compatible. Sound quality is supererb with OEM Bose Symphony II speakers in Audi A4. Interface and contols are easy and intuitive. Screen is very clear, crisp and easy to read. Anticipate wiring harness / antenna adapter for Audi/VW vehicles. Double DIN mount kit about $50. Overall, superb product and performance. TomTom software-map update NOT yet available. I am very glad I purchased this product. Best to you.

Pros:
Homerun with TomTom Navigation, Best Looking Screen in the Market, Very Easy to Use, iPod very useful, SensMe is Awesome
Cons:
Sirius Interface lacking,
I put this in my car thinking that it was just another mediocre Sony unit. After I put it in I was shocked to see how much Sony has evolved. This unit relies fully on Tom Tom navigation which most people have at least heard of are familiar with to some capacity. All updates are done through Tom Tom and 4 map updates are release PER YEAR! Not only that but you can even add roads manually into the unit which no other nav brand allows. It also has speed and red light cameras pre loaded into the nav and warns you of any upcoming traps.
The screen quality is as Hi Def as I have ever seen on any Double Din unit. I was told they incorporated some of the Bravia technology into their automotive screens and it definitely is true. A+++++ on this unit, so far I'm really really impressed!

Pros:
Great GPS and picture quality on DVDs
Cons:
Menues are a pain as well as slow, AV sources will randomly change to something else cant get rid of warnings.
Bad expirence do not recomend. Hopefully it is only related to my unit. but if not I think Sony dropped the ball on this one.
