I just got my 55 inch for about 1 weeek now. I love the look and image is amazing. I got it on sale at the Jersey Shore Sony outlet. Internet features is amazing. Got the android app to use phone as remote control. Useful for typing since you have keyboard. Couldn't open pdf file though on usb drive. Browser app could be faster. Couldn't open CNN video. Looks like it need flash support. 3D shows ghosting affect sometimes.

I love this tv it is the clearest picture that i have ever seen and the feature to this tv is amazing but the only thing that i am not as satisfied in is the 3d feature the advertisements had me think that a 3d image would litterly jump out of the tv not that it would create an 3d depth from what I understood was that in movies that if there was objects thrown at the screen that they would litterly fly past your head but besides that 3d is still amazing great job sony

Awesome TV

Pros: Great Picture

This TV is fantastic. It feels like the actors are right in my house. Don't have any complaints about the TV yet.

tv tuens off after 2 minutes

Cons: wont stay on

i just hooked up my tv 6 days ago loved it great pictures, 3D worked great, Turned It On Today And now all it does is stay on for 2 minutes and turns off, i cant access any menus. very disappointed with this product!

Pros: Great Picture, even with glare.

Cons: Blurry 3d. Pip impracticle

I do like the TV, the picture is great... But the PIP and Twin picture features aren't available with two HD inputs... Which is the only inputs we have... Making PIP unusable. I've also noticed blur with most 3d movies. Either in foreground or background (It seems to be a problem having both clear) although I'm not sure if this is an issue specific to this product.

great TV

Pros: almost 100%

Cons: no easy access to HDMI/AV on side, as with our other Bravia

This is our second Bravia, very pleased with it and the improvements to ease of use, ie, being able to select input without have to scroll through them all to get to the one you want. Great TV and just we expect from Sony. We have owned 4 Sony TV's as well as plenty of other Sony electronics. We expect the best and are not disappointed with this set.

TV WATCHING TO NEW LEVEL

Very disappointed with the viewing angle /colors

Pros: Very slim desigin

Cons: Washed out colors when viewed from a wider viewing angle

I have always been a Sony TV fan but this time I have to admit great disappointment in the viewing angle of the TV, the TV is loaded with features but they should have added a second component video and a second composite video input to accommodate older equipment. I got this TV to replace my HD grand Wega TV. To my dismay the older TV picture had more depth and sharpness and most important a wider viewing angle The new TV is at best with the automatic picture enhancements turned off and viewing at a 90 degree angle view from a wider angle or the side in 2D and the skin colors are all washed out and unnatural A call to customer support did not help much, so looks like Sony have to do some work on the viewing angle to get back to Sony known quality

White Clouding on screen KDL55EX720

Cons: White patches on screen, uneven blacks

1. Noticed that the screen had uneven blacks areas, white patches in different areas of the screen. The TV was a month out of warranty, but the service centre honoured the warranty and got the panel replaced (took more than a month for the parts to be delivered). Still noticed the white clouding/ patches on the screen. even after a new panel was installed. Have to take the TV back to the service centre for a Sony tech to assess. 2. Digital TV is distorted if a device connected via HDMI is switched left turned on.

Best Picture I have ever seen!

Pros: Great Options, Beautiful Picture, Great Sound

This is the best TV I have ever owned. When hooked up to a Sony 5.1 Surround Receiver, it will blow your mind. The 55" screen makes you feel like you are there. I will never own any other brand of TV. I have always owned Sony products. This is the BEST! Thanks Sony. You've made me a very happy person. Keep it up!

Great TV

Pros: Great picture, ease of setup and use

Cons: None

The Sony was an upgrade from a 61" Toshiba HD Rear projection (great picture but lacking 1080P capability). It was very aggressively priced and the picture quality was far higher than the competitive models reviewed at Best Buy. I have not yet tried the 3D functionality but thought I'd purchase it for future use. The sound quality of the TV is OK but not really a priority as it's being used with a surround sound system. I'm very pleased with the purchase overall.

Great Tv

Love It!

Pros: Slim, lightweight, Great color

Cons: HDMI ports from the back of the TV

Overall I am very happy with this product. I have had the TV for a little over 2 weeks now and I love it. It takes a little research and work to get the calibration tweeks (check out http://www.tweaktv.com/) but once you get that done and your input wiring upgrades done all thats left is to sit back and relax. The only thing I don't like about the TV is most of the HDMI ports on the back are outward facing, so you can't put the TV flat on the wall. It needs to be at least 1.5" off the wall or the input plugs will hit and cause it to hang crooked. All in all though.......a very good product.

Nice Set for the price

Pros: Excellent picture, very efficient, easy to use

Cons: only digital audio out, 3D image is not very good

the most depressing thing is the only audio out available is digital. so if you have a receiver thats a few years old (as i do) you have to buy a 55.00 cable! :( sony of all brands should have taken that into consideration.

Bad Purchase

Pros: Good Picture in 2D

Cons: Very Bad in 3D

Careful buying this one. Make sure you test the 3D feature before purchasing this model. A lot of ghosting. My son can't even play his 3D games on his playstation 3.

Awesome TV, I Love It.

Sony for life

Pros: Sharp Clear Picture, Draws very little energy, connects to internet

Cons: None

I bought this LED 3D HDTV to replace my old Sony 52 inch XBR4. Syncing to my other Sony products was easy to do through HDMI inputs like my stereo receiver and Blu-Ray player. Connecting to the internet was also simple and easy to do. I love Sony products and will use it for life.

Not bright at all

Pros: 3d looks pretty good

Cons: Brightness is sooo bad

I bought this online at sale for a good price, however I wish I saw the TV before I bought it because the brightness is very bad. Check it out at best buy its really bad and when I finally got it I regret the purchase. I thought Sony was suppose to be good quality, also they seemed to have lied on the 240 refresh rate. I bought the TV because it was listed at 240 ,later to find out it wasn't 240 at all.

Sony Bravia TV worst purchase ever

Pros: When it worked the TV was great, I really like the picture, Internet access etc

Cons: The automatic off switch does not work shuts TV down

I really liked the TV with all its features but iI had issues from the minute I took it out of the box. Then it stopped working completely after two months. The TV just shut off and i could not turn it back on. \Waiting on support to fix it been 3 weeks and told another 60days for the part.
