I noticed the con first, because I only had network connectivity when I first powered it up. I could browse around my Media server, but it failed running with the error Not authorized to play. I did a number of things to try to fix it, even causing grief for myself with the working part of my home network, to no avail. I then tested out the USB functionality, which also didn't work. I was going to return the unit for something else, but decided to try my Network enabled Sony Blu Ray player. Wow! That changed my mind. And movies from my media streamer worked great and looked great through my Blu Ray. After talking with a sales rep, I exchanged for another unit. Still the same problem. I am going to keep the TV, because I think Sony has a bug and will fix this in a future firmware revision.It should be able to work, as they are one of the best supporting this function in their Blu Ray players.

The USB is useless as the tv fails to recognize AVI, MKV and other popular media files. So far ONLY mp4 works. I've had 1defective unit exchanged with a 'refurbished model' (not by choice I can guarantee you) and while the defective panel that caused bluring was fixed, the buzzing noise when off is consistent. Buzzing noise does stop, but TV;s should be silent when off If I wasn't over my 30 day return, I'd have sent this back. The picture quality is ok and comparative to other companies The TV also slants over time. Yes, the stand is faulty. Make sure to buy a level when you purchase this tv as you'll be constantly using it. For the price paid, I'd wish I had gone with Samsung or LG as their software is far superior

It looks really nice. Also bought a blue ray Sony with built in WIFI so I am enjoying all the features that this TV offers!! The set up was pretty easy but it takes a little time.

Great LED TV for bedroom !
