for $100 I feel I just got mugged in a back ally

Pros: I like the small compact design and rechargeable batteries and usb hook up

Cons: Sound Quality, Repeat&Shuffle, MP4 file support, Screen ratio, Software

This is by far the worst walkman I have ever owned the sound quality is not very loud at all more like dull roar to whisper Shuffle&Repeat features only work with MP3 files and not MP4 files and MP4 files still have to be converted even if they are listed on specifications as supported which takes many hours to do and randomly there wasn't any sound during playback which required MP4 song restarts to fix I think sony has failed to disclose information at place of sale I found this on similar products which may be why this walkman had so many issues and problems playing MP4 files This product is not certified by DivX Inc. and may not play all DivX 4 and DivX 5 files. XviD encoded files are playable if they are encoded as standard MPEG-4 Simple (SP) or Advanced Simple Profile (ASP) without GMC and QPEL support. Appropriate codecs must be preinstalled. also the screen ratio is like the old big tv's that weight 600lbs with picture tubes if you have hdtv wide music videos ect you will have bars on the top and bottom of picture I also found the software on it for windows to be filled with bloatware that wasn't required to work this product at all and wasn't very user friendly at all either for example windows media player was a ton easier to work with then mediago's media player
