Pros:
iPhone / iPod controls, lots of ear pieces to get a good fit
Cons:
No bass, not really comfortable
Well I wished I listened to other people's reviews. It's true, these ear phones lack all bass. The highs are fine, but even the mids are suffering at times. It's not a question that these earphones are simply cutting out the over enhancement of bass that other headphones create (which they do), they simply cannot reproduce it. Using my computer I used a flat EQ on my standard Apple headphones and then compared them to the Sony, even with the EQ cranked on the low range the Sony could not reproduce any resemblance of bass.
Someone might argue that the Sony headphones are simply reproducing the sound as it was meant to be heard, that most headphones increase the bass and this is true. But audio artists also know this and adjust accordingly.
Be carful about how these feel in the ear, they fit really snug. Almost uncomfortably so. There are various sizes to nibs you can use. They are meant to isolate (almost seal) the ear cannel. Because of the earphones design they really don't rest on any other part of your ear other than the cannel itself. This gets uncomfortable fast and if you want to wear them with a toque forget about it (as I do when running).
Overall the rest of the design (cord and controller) is great and is an improvement over the Apple headphones.
I honestly tried these less than 3 times and now they reside in the drawer, back to the Apples. Unfortunately I can't return them as I used Sony Points which really makes this sting. Hopefully my loss is your gain. I recommend that you try these instore before you buy (I would have if they hadn't closed all the Vancouver Island stores down), even better yet, step up a level or two. I would imagine the more drivers the better the sound reproduction.
I do not recommend these, period.

Pros:
Comfy in the Ears, Stellar Audio Quality
Cons:
Pricey
I just recently got an iphone and wanted better headphones with a mic. I heard about these and tried them out and I like them. The ear buds are nice and solid in my ears, and don't irritate them. Plus the sound quality is excellent and really sounds nice and full, and that is both on my phone and my laptop where its a whole other world. These are a definite must buy!!!!

Pros:
design, convenience
Cons:
bass, interference
I can't hear anything properly because there is no insulation on the cables. When I walk to work and the cables rub against my jacket, there is so much interference traveling up the cables and covering the music. Not what I'd expect of $90 headphones!
The remote is great, nice product design, but the bass is pretty crummy.

Pros:
insolation, clear, iPhone remote
Cons:
bass, price
I got these on Amazon (refurbish ones). The insolation is absolutely undoubtable! I can't even drive and listen to music because of that, or I might crash my car...
The mic is good as well, no problem talking to other on the phone! Mid and high pitch are so clear that you don't miss any detail. However, the bass is surprisingly POOR. I feel like there's no bass, just pop. For how much it cost, I expect more...
In addition, after one week of light use, my left ear (the mic control side) is sort of broken. It's not as loud as the right ear. Luckily, Sony is willing to send me a new pair. I'm happy with their service but kind of disappointed with these headphones...
