Expensive but worth it

Pros: Premium design and hardware

Cons: price

This is the best 13" thin/lightweight laptop that 2 grand will get you. It is amazingly light and thin, while also packing an immense amount if power behind it.

Excellent!

Pros: Battery life, sleek design, able to customize!

Cons: Prone to finger prints, weak speakers

I've bought and customized the Vaio Z to all the max settings, so of course it would run, perform and meet all my expectations. It's very light, good for gaming, and very portable! Not to mention it looks amazing! The downside is that the premium carbon fiber attracts a lot of finger prints, though it looks really good! But I just clean it almost every night, not much of a big deal. Also, the speakers just go as loud as I need it. I do agree that the speakers aren't as loud as other laptops.

Should be better for the price

Pros: light, full hd screen

Cons: bad mic, battery last less than 4hrs

I have owned a Vaio Z SVG1134GXX for a few months now, and although I like many features of this laptop, I expected more. The computer is very light, and it has a high-quality screen. It is also very fast. I also love the lighted keyboard, and the textured touchpad. However, the computer has bad mic and speakers. When skyping, if I don't use the earphones that comes with the computer, the person on the other side of the line would hear a terrible noise. I also hate that the brightness of the computer keeps adjusting itself, although I set up the brightness not to be automatically adjusted. I have had some issues with the touchpad driver, although after a windows update the problem went away. The battery doesn't last too long, so I always have to carry the charger. I guess I expected more for $2200.
