Pros:
Low Light Performance, Image Stabilization, Compactness, Video Quality, Ease of Use, Water resistance, Memory Slot
Cons:
Audio Performance, Lack of External Audio Port, Battery Life, USB 2 rather than USB 3 port
This camera performs very well. It is relatively compact, provides a very stable image, and captures excellent in low light. The controls are easy to use, the smile shutter is nifty, and the zoom works quietly.
My concerns are this: 1. The autofocus creates a "projector film" sound that damages audio in quiet environments. This can be heard on numerous online videos, including my own. The problem is eliminated when switching to manual focus, I should mention 2. The GW77v only offers progressive output in the 1080 60p PS setting. All other settings are interlaced. This requires extra work for those posting non-PS videos to the web. The PS setting does look fantastic, by the way. 3. There is no external audio port. Should a user want to pick up good audio in a quiet room, an external microphone could have avoided the autofocus noise issue. Sadly, there is no external audio port to do so. 4. Given the large file sizes, a micro USB 3 port would have been nice. Regardless, the files transfer relatively quickly.
That being said, the camera is a very good choice. It has traveled with me, filmed my child's infancy, and produced excellent video. I am an average user and am fairly happy. Although, I have considered returning the camera, as have others, due to the auto focus mechanism repeatedly damaging my audio. In the end, I would recommend this camera to others, but with the same concerns I have expressed here.

Pros:
excelent photos and videos, easy to use, very high quality
Cons:
dificult to take underwater shots without a viewfinder.
This camera has been used on fifty or sixty occasions in some extreme conditions and has performed exceptionally well. It has been in and on the water almost exclusively and after a short learning curve, I am able to take quality photos and video. Have a cloth handy to keep the lens dry. I've had some almost great shots lost due to a water droplet.

Pros:
small, good low light performance, water and dust proof
This is a perfect personal video camera. It provides high-quality HD video and fits in your pocket. This and iMovie are a winning combination. Low light performance is great. The optical image stabilization is excellent.
