I've had this product for1-3 months
Pros:
design, swival lens
Cons:
video quality
I like the design of this product and looks great and the swival lens is great. I liked the quality of the videos the first 3 times I shot with it and now the quality of the videos are really bad and I am not sure why. I played around with the setting and that is not it. I realized that the quality is ok if you are working with natural sunlight. Inside this camera doesnt work 2 well. I would not buy it again

Pros:
Compact, easy to use
Cons:
Not good for indoor
Pretty easy to use, but shooting movie indoor could be an issue; image was too dark when filming in my apt., and even can't seen nothing at some spots. It will be a lot better if Sony gives it a built-in flash light.

Pros:
Good savy provided you're well experienced in digital photography.
Cons:
Those push keys should give way for a bigger screen place somewhere in the camera. Excellent if it got a fash..
I read all the reviews before I placed my order and it seems they're all below average. I purchased one and tried the 360 degrees shots, indoor/outdoor. Converted them to wmv format. Inherent computer software won't play the file good as sounds are are garbled. I used the Homecinema player and it played well. All succeeding shots were all converted to wide with highest resolution and now i'm getting better results. Photo shots are comparable to my Optio 4i video cam. My contacts with Facebook were amazed by the good quality video and photo shots this holiday season as its eye-catching capability and portability is worth the price.

Pros:
Compact Size, Still Photos
Cons:
360 Lens
The PM5K is supposed to be a unique enhancement, because of its ability to record 360 video, but the 360 video quality after conversion is absolutely terrible. I wish I could show you how pathetic it looks. It was a huge letdown, because that was the only reason I purchased this particular model. If that's the case for you, too, I would NOT buy this camera.
The overall quality of the non-360 video is decent. I think it is no different than the Flip camera (I own an Ultra HD), but this model is more expensive than the Flip. The 1080p is slightly more clear than 720 but not dramatically.
Overall, this was an average effort by Sony, but the main feature on this camera is supposed to be its 360 video lens, but that feature is a complete waste and a dud, because the clarity of the video is ridiculously terrible. Maybe, maybe go with the PM5 without the 360 lens, but the Flip is what I will continue to use for now.
Nice try, Sony, but not good enough.

Pros:
lightweight, compact, rotating lens, various outputs, nice software for rotating photos AND video
Cons:
screen size while shooting, 360 lens
Overall this is a camera for grandma or the kids, but not for a person who likes to shoot video or photo on a regular basis. the viewing screen, you assume, takes up the entire screen on the camera, but it only takes up 1/3 of it, making it too small to figure out what it is you're shooting. I'm definitely returning this item or just buying a different camera. This is not a good investment unless you like gilttery, compact cameras with a small viewing screen size. That, and mine had a glitch with the screen not coming on. I had to shake it to get it to the right brightness again.

Pros:
small
Cons:
Only records in 29 minute increments, ~1hr battery life
After a single use, I've concluded that this product is not worth the money. I attempted to record a 1:30 lecture, only to discover that the camera "times out" after 29 minutes. I restarted the recording, but then the battery died a few minutes after I restarted the recording for the 3rd time, so I only managed to get 57 minutes. Not sure if it can record while plugged in to my laptop to charge. Supremely annoying discovery, considering that it claims you can get 480min of playback at low resolution. Also, I recorded holding the camera "landscape" orientation, but couldn't figure out how to view/import the video upright, so I had to manipulate it in iMovie, and it's now taking 3 hours to export the 57min file (hopefully with the 2 clips stitched together). Get a Flip with the most memory you can afford. This was a waste of money.

I've heard that the PMB software for Mac doesn't support the 360 videos. Does anybody know of an alternate solution?
Thanks in advance..!

Pros:
Design, MS duo Pro / SD Card compatibility, moving lense
Cons:
360º kit, price, software, NOT MAC COMPATIBLE,
I bought this Bloggie with great expectations bases on the advertisements. Well, I must start by saying that eve thou the box, the website and everything says it is Mac compatible, it isn't The image was fair, average for a small HD. The software for Windows is a pain, it crashes constantly even on XP (yeah I tried Mac OS, W 7 and W XP) and when I could finally access the 360º converter it showed such a bad video recording that I am returning the product within 24 hours of having received it. Definitely is a fashion camera but not worth the price.

Pros:
Design
Cons:
Low lux recording & taking blur pics.
Being a gadget guy, i've bought & tried out many different electronics. I like the desgin of the swivel lense & accessories that came with this kit. But the 360 lense is quite useless. The image quality from this camera is much poorly than my other cheaper Sony digital camera, especially when you're recording indoor. Snapping picture tends to blur 90% of the time. I'm keeping this toy just to have something to mess around with. But not for recording family gatherings or precious moments. Just get the camera w/o the kit if anyone still insist of purchasing this camera for fun. From the poor performance of this camera..... pricing should be under $125.
