Pros:
Works with Sony laptops
Cons:
Large, heavy
Small and light were the two words furthest from my mind when I received this adapter. If you have a Sony laptop already then you presumably know how big and heavy this is. I received this as a spare adapter in advance of the laptop I ordered and was shocked at the weight. Sony includes a very high quality carrying case--but seriously, the adapter in the case takes up at least 3 times the volume of the largest laptop adapter I've ever seen. I will probably try to find a third party adapter with the same specs that is more travel friendly. If I had seen this adapter in the store when I went to check out the size of laptops, then I would have done more research and possibly puchased another brand laptop.

Pros:
Great travel multi-charger
When I first bought this adapter, I thought that I really didn't need it since my Vaio laptop came with an adapter for the computer and one for the docking station. However, when I looked closer, I noticed that this adapter, unlike the one that came with the computer, has 2 USB plugs that can charge other devices, such as my mobile phone, ipod or ipad, and mifi wireless card, regardless if my computer is plugged into the adaptor or not. I just put these cords into the nice black velcro adaptor case, and it's all I need. Also great when traveling and you only have one receptable in an older hotel room to charge all your devices, you only need to plug in the adaptor and you're all set!

Pros:
Slim, USB ports
Cons:
3 wire cable is large, no simple way to wrap up wires
Not sure why Sony used a 3 wire cable as it adds so much bulk to the setup. A way to easily wrap up wires would be nice. It comes with a silly clip that isn't very useful.
