Sony Tablet S Bluetooth Keyboard

It works great

I am using this keyboard to write this review. It's my first bluetooth keyboard. It feels the same with my sony Z series laptop. It is easy to connect with my laptop and iPhone. It is also very thin and easy to take.

Very good keyboard!

Pros: Very easy to set up and typing is accurate.

Cons: Still searching for a carrying case for the keyboard and tablet together.

I've had my Sony S tablet and bluetooth keyboard for a week now and I absolutely love them. They work extremely well together and allow me to actually do all of my homework and note taking with ease. The only thing I'm missing is a carrying case that allows me to carry both products and also opens easily for use of both items. I believe I have seen such tablet/keyboard cases for the ipads. This would be the icing on my proverbial cake to have a nice Sony case.

Unless I am missing the actual device that syncs up with PC's I am completely lost on WTF sony was thinking producing this keyboard and limiting it to tablet that has sold less than 1Million US units...and not providing simple software to wirelessly connect to keyboards like EVERY other wireless keyboard manufacturer....I was so excited when I saw the design...did I just order the wrong one? Is there one that works with computers?? PLEASE HELP. SONY, I understand now why you are getting pushed out of the consumer electronic space.....poor pricing model...sad

Smooth & Quiet

Pros: Wireless Bluetooth, style, smooth and quiet key strokes

I have been impressed with Sony's keyboards this past few years. This keyboard is what I expected and I have no true complaints. To connect the Bluetooth keyboard to my Sony S Tablet was very simple. I love the on and off switch as to not run the batteries down. When I turn on my Tablet, it takes a moment for the tablet to recognize and switch to Bluetooth keyboard mode. Which is not a big deal to me, it's only a few seconds and I can always use my finger on the touch screen if needed. The keystrokes as you type are fluent and smooth. I don't get duplicated keystrokes or a missing keystroke like I do with other Bluetooth keyboard devices. I love the feel of the keys as I press, they are big enough to fit my fingers. I don't have to really go into detail about the style...they keyboard looks great sitting in front of my tablet as my tablet sits in its cradle. I love the set up and I am sure others will too! I recommend this product to several people who also, give this Bluetooth keyboard a great review.

Cons: there is no case that accommodates both the Sony keyboard and the Sony S tablet

The lack of a compatible case to go with both the Sony Bluetooth keyboard and the Sony S-tablet is a major faux-pas on Sony's part. Why would they develop such a fine keyboard and not have a case to go with it for use with the Sony tablet S? This a deal breaker for me. Can you imagine Apple providing no such options?

Highly recommend this item for people who prefer keyboards than touch screens. Easy for those of us who have long nails.
